Seems Oskari placed a really short post over at http://www.buzzchurch.com announcing that he has picked up a 6 month old backup, and is working on Buzz again....

There's a few missing features in the code right now, but if you're a fan of this software that changed how some people think of tracking, do yourself a favour and go to The Buzz beta page and give it a go.  Keep in mind, this is a regression from previous versions, but hey... a new build is a new build, right?

Focusing a bit; 6 months old before crash -which means something like 7-8 years old back up now.

New build is new build indeed, current beta version has already nice improvements compared to 2001 version.

One is ofcourse that it is not needed to be used in NT4 compatibility mode in XP because this is created for XP (and maybe Vista, i dont remember)..

Theres also so called "Pattern XP" feature which might be something that some of us like. New keyboard shortcuts has been added, "clone machine" function etc..

Current Overloaders wont work but those are to be done compatible again so plp who have used to it can continue using those functions.

http://www.buzzchurch.com/ has a topic about new features. Smiley

I did - - not - - see this one coming! grin

I remember the commotion when he announced the crash in the first place, back in the days. Who would imagine that this would resurface...
