On my old computer i had win 95 installed and Impulse tracker was always running smoothly like it should do... but now, i have win 2000 installed and first impulse tracker just didn't wanna run on my computer. but if i run it with VDMSound, then it runs, but really really slowly... does anyone here know of any driver i could use or something i could do to get Impulse Tracker to run faster??

Unfortunately not...  VDMSound emulates the sound hardware on the CPU, therefore it eats up a ton of resources....  Only with a more modern PC can you achieve decent speeds via emulation...

Wha are the specs of your PC?  As well, how did you format your HD for Win2K?  If you used FAT32, might I suggest using a windows 98 boot disk (with your sound card drivers) in order to use IT...
